The Ankle Bashers is comprised of Tom Crabtree and Matt Cuff, who met at drama school in 2020.

After being commissioned to record More by Frank Sinatra for a music app in 2022, Tom and Matt established the Ankle Bashers. Their sound was unique, with the blend of Tom's jazzy vocals and brass playing, alongside Matt's signature piano style. They've performed at birthday parties and pubs, keeping the crowd singing along with their classic covers.

In September 2023, whilst Tom was engaged with an Acting tour, Finn joined the Bashers, bringing a new sound to the duo with the addition of his cello. He sadly parted the band in July 2024 to focus on his fantastic solo music.
​
Ankle Bashers have played numerous venues across South East London, with a residency at The Nags Head in Welling for most of 2023. They span multiple genres, from Pop to Jazz, with their unique instrumentation and fun personalities, which always make for an entertaining time.
​
We are very versatile and can cater for all sorts of events, whether it be a Jazz Evening, Pub Night or Wedding - we do it all!
